“LEADING & LOVING GOD’S PEOPLE”

He sang in the youth choir and attended youth activities while at Sixth Avenue. At the age of seventeen, he joined the Greater 14th Street Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Elvester Turner. Under Rev. Turner’s leadership, Tim Sanford spiritually grew and continued to work in the church. He served as an usher, Sunday School Teacher, Vacation Bible School Teacher, Assistant Youth Director, and Youth Director. Tim felt the strong calling to preach God’s Word upon his life and was licensed to preach in February 2001. Ordained under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Robert Sellers, Sr in August 2007. On Sunday, August 18, 2013, Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church Mulga opened their hearts and called Rev. Timothy Sanford as Pastor.
